"The Motzenbäcker Estate is located in the Palatinate wine region where the climate is particularly favorable for wine growing. The vineyards of the Mittelhaardt Mountains are embedded between the Palatinate Forest in the West and the Rhine Valley in the East. The winery Motzenbäcker is managed by Marie Menger-Krug, which is known to produce powerful, fruity wines combined with a harmonic body and structure. The age of the vines is up to 40 years old.
This Blanc the Blanc sparkling wine is a special creation from Marie Menger-Krug together with BASF Winecellar. She used only the ripest Weißburgunder and Chardonnay grapes available. By applying the traditional methodé champenoise she produced a fruity sparkling wine, exhibiting aromas of pear, quince, and ripe peaches completed by notes of fresh brioche. The taste is rich, the bubbles are silky and elegant, the taste is wonderful delicate completed by a creamy after taste.
