Quinta do Crasto is located in the Cima Corgo wine region, the heart of the three subregions. The former Roman fortress proudly overlooks the valley and its terraced vineyards. Cima Corgo is considered one of the best wine-growing regions in Portugal, particularly known for its steep, schist-covered slopes. When the Roquette family established their family empire in 1994, it quickly became evident that the combination of a modern wine style with native grape varieties would become the hallmark of the estate. Moreover, the estate boasts a large number of old, indigenous vineyards. In addition to native grape varieties such as Touriga Francesa, Tinta Barroca, and Touriga Nacional, the winery also offers an exclusive selection of Port wines.
